Review by hotel critic
As I walked into the warm embrace of Smoky Falls Lodge, I was greeted by the crackling fireplace in the large Smoky Falls room. the serene ambiance was a balm for my weary soul, offering a perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The housekeeping was impeccable, ensuring that every corner of the lodge exuded cleanliness and comfort. One of the highlights of my visit was enjoying a welcome drink at the Moonshine Grille, where I sampled a delightful mix of casual dining and fine cuisine. the blend of flavors mirrored the diverse experiences one can find in Cherokee, a stone's throw away from the lodge. In the evenings, I found solace by the creek behind the hotel, listening to the soothing sounds of nature as I reflected on the day's adventures. the proximity to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park allowed me to explore its wonders, from Waterrock Knob to Graveyard Fields, each offering a glimpse into the park's rich history and biodiversity. Overall, Smoky Falls Lodge provided the perfect backdrop for my solo journey, combining comfort, tranquility, and a touch of adventure. It's a place where nature whispers its secrets and the past intertwines with the present, creating a tapestry of unforgettable memories.
